If you don’t want to bother mixing up the absinthe bitters, you can substitute by rinsing the glass with a splash of absinthe or Green Chartreuse, leaving the excess in the glass.
Best with a milder gin like Beefeater (avoid Tanqueray). Dry vermouth can also be used in place of blanc vermouth.
- 2½ oz London dry gin
- ¾ oz blanc vermouth
- ½ Maraschino liqueur
- ¼ oz absinthe bitters
- garnish: lemon twist
Stir ingredients with plenty of ice. Strain into a coupe.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
